Choose your class: roles and first combat drills

Research scope: class orientation is based on the linked secondary community guides; the practice drills are editorial recommendations, not tested optimal rotations. Match your class to the role you enjoy, rather than a regional tier list.

Gladiator: Greatsword melee damage and broad attacks. Practice staying within reach without remaining in enemy attack zones. Learn a short attack chain before maximizing speed.

Templar: Tank with threat control and defensive tools. Practice positioning enemies and saving a defensive response for a dangerous attack rather than spending every cooldown together.

Assassin: Daggers, stealth and close-range burst. Practice entering, executing a short sequence and escaping. Keep an exit option instead of committing every movement tool to the opening.

Marksman / Ranger: Bow-based ranged pressure and control. Community guides commonly call this class Ranger; this site preserves its existing Marksman identifier. Practice maintaining distance without backing into another enemy group.

Sorcerer: Ranged magic burst. Learn which spells require a safe casting window, and keep a response available when enemies approach. A powerful cast is not useful if it repeatedly gets interrupted.

Spiritmaster: Summons and control. Practice directing your summon, changing targets and preventing unwanted engagement. Monitor both your own position and what the summon is attacking.

Cleric: Active combat support with healing and debuffs. Healing Light uses smart party targeting in the current client reference; practice maintaining range and returning to offense rather than assuming every heal requires manual ally selection. Keep recovery and cleanse easy to reach.

Chanter: Melee/support hybrid with buffs and supportive healing. Watch buff uptime while moving safely. Agree who handles primary healing rather than assuming a hybrid automatically replaces a Cleric.

Coordinate region, faction and server with your friends before creating characters. For ranged positioning, consider Marksman/Ranger; for direct melee, Gladiator; for healing responsibility, Cleric. These are preference-based suggestions, not measured rankings.

Brawler belongs to a later Korean update. Its presence in regional guides does not establish global launch availability. Exact global skill names, coefficients and optimal builds remain unverified here.
